Supporting Adult Learners

The Adult Learning Committee (ALC) at Kennesaw State University acts as an advocate and facilitator for adult learning programs and Credit for Prior Learning (CPL). Reporting to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, the ALC is an active member of the University System of Georgia's Adult Learning Consortium, providing representation on the Regents' Academic Committee on Adult Learning. As a proactive consortium of institutions, the ALC collaborates to establish policies, share resources, and test innovative practices, aimed at sustaining and advancing adult-focused policies and practices at the institutional and System level.

The ALC is responsible for developing and maintaining a unified, integrated, and effective adult learning and Credit for Prior Learning programs through advisory proposals to the Office of the Provost and VPAA.
